7th Annual Veterans Picnic held at the Columbia Water Park Sat. Nov. 16

SAT. NOV. 16TH- 9AM UNTIL:7th Annual Veterans Picnic held at the Columbia Water Park on Hwy. 35N. The picnic will include a Car, Truck and Bike Show and the traveling Vietnam War Museum “Through the Eyes”, from O’Fallon, MO.

There will be a Parade of Vehicles starting at 10:15am from Encompass Home Health (across from Mack Grubbs Motors) on Hwy 98 in Columbia, traveling down Broad Street to Main Street and on to the Water Park. Food and drinks will be available and all proceeds this year will once again be donated to the Wounded Minutemen of Mississippi. The Opening Ceremony will start at 12 noon, with the Marines from Biloxi raising a new Flag to fly over the Park. The Veterans Picnic Committee, Veterans Service Office of Columbia, MS., Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion will be presenting the Vietnam War Museum, “Through the Eyes”, November 14th, 15th and 16th. at the Columbia Water Park. Museum is open from 8am to 8pm. This Event is Free to the public .
