Sumrall Lions Club will be holding its first annual Alvin Beasley 5K - 1 mile fun run/walk at 7:00 am on July 4th at the Sumrall Lions' Club Park. Registration forms can be requested by texting your email address to 601-606-3697 or emailing sumralllionsclub@gmail.com. Pre-registration is $20, Pine Belt Pacers $18 and Day of race $25. T-shirts will be guaranteed to all pre-registered runners.
Alvin Beasley was a member of the Sumrall Lions Club for over forty years and served as President as well as many other offices within the organization. He was a devoted servant to the Sumrall area. The Fourth of July Parade will be at 10am; Auction at 11am; Music, Games and Carnival Rides throughout the day ending with Fireworks at 9 pm. Come out for a full day of activities.
