Kacey Musgraves crossed off a bucket list item she didn’t even know she had.

The Grammy Award-winning artist gushed over her recently-revealed — and uncanny — wax figure, which is located at Madame Tussauds Nashville. Musgraves stood face-to-face with her wax lookalike, which wears the same white lace jumpsuit, heels and jewelry pieces the country superstar wore to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in 2019. Visitors of the Music City attraction can even perform a duet with the figure, per a press release issued Wednesday morning (September 27).

Musgraves exclaimed “you guys nailed it,” when she saw her wax figure for the first time in a video included in the release. The “High Horse” star noted the precise detail of the figure, including the eye color and her accessories: “I think this might be the craziest thing that’s ever happened to me.”

“What an honor, I never even knew I wanted this to be a bucket list moment,” Musgraves said. “You all did an amazing job.”

The Same Trailer, Different Park artist’s wax figure took approximately six months to create, according to release. Twenty London-based artists created the figure, and the Madame Tussauds studio artists joined forces with Musgraves and her makeup team to capture every detail. Madame Tussauds Nashville will present the VIP Wax Figure Reveal on Thursday (September 28), according to the release. Visitors can see the Musgraves wax figure beginning Friday (September 29).

“As a country music icon, there is no better artist we’d like to welcome to the Madame Tussauds Nashville family than Kacey Musgraves,” Marketing Manager for Madame Tussauds Monica Jackson said in a statement. “She is one of country music’s most beloved stars and we’re honored for guests to welcome and sing with her at our attraction.”
