Libraries in Jackson and George counties offering Curb-side Pickup Service

Big News! JGRLS is offering Curb-side Pickup Service at all locations. In an effort to continue serving our patrons during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak, JGRLS branch libraries are offering Curbside Hold Pickup Service. This will allow Library customers in good standing to pick up library materials they have placed on hold or have requested by phone without leaving their vehicle.

Patrons need only park, call their branch library, give their name, and a staff member will collect requested materials. Customers must allow up to 24 hours after placing holds/requests for staff to collect and prepare them for pickup. Customers must present their library card and a photo ID. The customer’s account must be current with no fines or fees over $10, and fines cannot be paid at curbside. Once notified, customers must promptly pickup their materials within 3 business days or the item will be removed from holds.

Curbside service is available Monday through Thursday, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at all JGRLS locations. This limited service may be cancelled if there is a shortage of staff or inclement weather.

For more information, call the main library at 228-769-3060. Visit www.jgrls.org for further notices and information or on Facebook at JacksonGeorgeLibrary.
