The show EVERYONE is telling me to watch!

This Tuesday while I was drinking my coffee, Dan Brennan from 95KSJ walked in and told me there was a show I HAVE TO watch. He said it was basically me! Then maybe an hour later, Steve Powers asked if I had seen in it. What show? One Amazon Prime has been subliminally telling me to watch for probably a year now, and now has the solid approval from two co-workers I trust when it comes to comedy.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

The IMDB description reads:

It's 1958 Manhattan and Miriam "Midge" Maisel has everything she's ever wanted - the perfect husband, kids, and Upper West Side apartment. But when her life suddenly takes a turn and Midge must start over, she discovers a previously unknown talent - one that will take her all the way from the comedy clubs of Greenwich Village to a spot on Johnny Carson's couch.

I started watching Tuesday night. I've already finished Season 1 and Im about to begin Season 2. I wont spoil much for you but here's my quick review:

EVERY SINGLE AWARD. THIS SHOW DESERVES EVERY SINGLE AWARD IT'S BEEN GIVEN. I don't know what I love most. The supporting roles are as great at the leads (shout out to Tony Shaloub) and the music puts an immediate smile on my face, as it is a character on its own. The sets, the cinematography, the classy crudeness. ALL OF IT. If you like funny, WATCH THIS SHOW.

I'll be bringing it up on the new episode of The BROADcast Podcast because I honestly have so much to say..
