I have received more messages than I can count about this sweet girl. Mary Beth is a 6th grader at Saraland Middle and while we were all getting ready to trick-or-treat on Halloween, her family was receiving a diagnosis that will change all of their lives....forever. I and personally working on efforts to help their family, but in the meantime, here is the message from their family and the link to the Facebook page.
"Mary Beth was diagnosed with DIPG on October 31, 2018. The few weeks before her diagnosis she had been experiencing some problems with balance and a little blurry vision. Her doctors at USA Children’s and Women’s hospital have sent her records to many of the top hospitals currently researching this cancer. Hopefully in the next few weeks we will have an idea of which direction her treatment will be headed. Stay tuned to this page for updates, we appreciate the love and support from all of you!"
