The perfect day of relaxation with J & Tay. Johnna 'K99 on-air talent' and Tay 'Digital gal' spent the day pool side at Harrah's Gulf coast. Harrah's invited us to check out all of the accommodations they have not only in the hotel, but pool side. On this week’s episode of #JandTayPlay we lounged like VIP's poolside at Harrah's.
"Just to preface, we work A LOT. To the average person it may seem like we just have fun talking on the radio and going to concerts, but SO MUCH goes on behind the scenes. We often work from home, spend hours commuting across the 3 states we cover (MS, AL, FL) and while sometimes we can bring along a guest, other times we sacrifice downtime with our families and sleep for our jobs. Having said that, our jobs come with MAJOR perks. Yesterday we were guests of our friends, business partners and now family at Harrah's Gulf Coast - we were welcomed with sweet gifts (the hats and bags) and the entire day was for US. They gave us much needed time to relax as FRIENDS, not co-workers, which we realized yesterday, we had never done outside of work. From the private cabana (SO WORTH IT) to playing with kids and guests in the pool, to the HILARIOUS and kind staff, to the 5 Star dinner celebrating our co-workers anniversaries with iHeartRadio , we relished in every moment of the experiences. Harrah's has a heated pool and soothing hot tub that is open all year round, 7 days a week. The pool is newly updated resort-style with fountains, cabanas and daybeds for you to lounge, mix and mingle.
