I've seen a lot of things in my life, and I love a good stupid news story. Heck, I've been the subject of plenty. But this is just downright impressive.
Last weekend, a 19-year-old named Kaitlyn was at the Winstock Country Music Festival in central Minnesota just having a good ol' time with her friends when she spotted something purty. She was checking out a truck when she (I can't believe I'm typing this) put her head in its oversized tailpipe and you guessed it...IT GOT STUCK.
Firefighters came to her rescue with a power saw to get her head out of there. Can you think of anything more terrifying than not being able to see the power saw being used to cut your head out of an already scary, dark, small and confined space? The good news, Kaitlyn was aparently wasted so she probably wasn't that upset. The bad news, she is 19 YEARS OLD so the cops who were also called to the scene cited her for underage drinking after her head was freed and then escorted her from the festival. The worse news? The video has now been viewed over 6K times (as I'm writing this blog) and will live on the internet forever.
I'm apologizing to Kaitlyn's future children now for laughing so hard at the video below. And I'm simultaneously praising the Good Lord that we didn't have the video capabilities or social media sharing when I was that age. Side note: someone should write a country song about loving your truck so much you get stuck. Call it "Love Like Kaitlyn Does".
