A community of families in Mount Laurel, New Jersey rallied together this week to treat their "favorite bus driver" to the TRIP OF A LIFETIME! Mr. Gary Kelmer has been driving school buses for nearly 27 years in Mount Laurel. He's a lifelong Eagles fan, and says it all started in the 60's when his dad took him to an NFL championship game. Gary was making his last stop on Monday afternoon and couldn't have predicted the surprise waiting for him if he tried. Parents and students in his community raised over $5,000 in five days to get two tickets and airfare for Kelmer and his wife to attend this year’s Super Bowl. They had personalized jerseys made, and the kids sang the Eagles fight song as Mr. Gary was presented with his gift. Parents of current students, and of now college age students that once rode his bus, all gathered in thanks to this wonderful man that spread joy to their families throughout the years.
Have fun, Mr. Gary!! Go birds!
