Throw an "easy" 4th of July party!

July 4th might be on a Wednesday this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t throw an epic party for all your friends and family. Sure, you might have less time because you don’t have a weekend to prep, but if you use these expert hacks you can throw an awesome BBQ with barely any work:

Chips, dips and other store bought prepared party foods are easy and delicious: As long as people are happily snacking there’s no reason to stress about not making your homemade hummus. Who cares if it’s store bought?! You just saved yourself hours of work!

Stick with traditional grilling items that don’t take prep work: Hamburgers and hotdogs all day!

Ask people to bring sides: Everyone likes to contribute to a celebration.

Watermelon: The only work this perfect dessert requires is that you have to cut it. Everyone loves it, it’s healthier, and it’s always a hit with kids.

Don’t waste time cleaning the whole house: Focus on the bathrooms and the kitchen and keep guests outside.

Stick with wine and beer instead of fancy cocktails: All you have to do is put ice in a cooler and stick the drinks in it.

Decorate with colored plates and napkins in red, white, and blue: Disposable plates will make everything look festive and make clean up much easier. (Buzz 60, Huffington Post)
