Save the date for the Christmas Parade hosted by Hattiesburg Jaycees and the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting hosted by the City of Hattiesburg-Government, all in partnership with Downtown Hattiesburg! This year’s theme, “Joy,” is a simple nod to the spirit that we long for and hope for this holiday season. Thursday, Nov. 29The parade will begin at 6 p.m. at Hawkins Elementary and wrap up at Town Square Park, where the program for the tree lighting will begin at 7:15 p.m. Additional activities include photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Clause in Santa’s Village, smART Space art horses, as well as food and beverage vendors.
