I love a good scare. If a horror movie can genuinely creep me out then its a miracle because not many "scary" movies do. I'm usually more freaked out by things that are very realistic. Not monsters, or gore, but more like...well, I didn't sleep for a week after seeing "Blair Witch Project" and a month after seeing the first "Paranormal Activity". This one looks right up my alley and it's available to stream now on Shudder!
"Host" is the story of six friends who hire a medium to hold a séance over Zoom during lock down, but they get far more than they bargain for as things quickly go wrong. When an evil spirit starts invading their homes, they begin to realize they might not survive the night.
