FREE THANKSGIVING MEALS:
Free Thanksgiving Cookout in Moss Point, 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 at Life and Deliverance Ministries, located at 5013 Frederick St. Rovira Team Realty and the church will serve meals to the community. They will also give out 75 turkeys on Nov. 26 to local churches and families.
Feed My Sheep Thanksgiving Eve Dinner, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, the day before Thanksgiving.
The 34rd annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 28 at the OLG Community Center, 228 S. Beach Blvd., Bay St. Louis. The sit down, restaurant-style dinner is open to all communities. The dinner includes turkey and all the trimmings. Take out dinners are also available. Deliveries will also be made to the homebound only in Bay St. Louis, Waveland and Hancock County. The homebound in these areas need to call now to reserve your meals on the list at 223-7349 or e-mail nkellygirl@yahoo.com, and include your complete name, address, phone number, and number of meals needed. Homebound meal reservations are due by Nov. 25. Those who would like to volunteer can call, go on our Facebook page, or e-mail.
The Gulf Coast Rescue Mission welcomes all to their annual Thanksgiving Meal Thursday, Nov 28th between noon and four. Take-out means will be available. Let them know if you'd like to volunteer to help. The Rescue Mission is on Mission Lane in Biloxi, right off DeBuys Road. 228-388-3884 or 228-280-8375
Slap Ya Momma’s Free BBQ Thanksgiving Meal, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at the Biloxi restaurant. Free dinners will be served to the community for anyone doesn’t want to cook or eat alone. All meals are free. Monetary donations can be made and ‘Family for a Day’ t-shirts will be available with all the proceeds from both fundraisers going towards Harrison County Foster Home to help provide Christmas.
Ocean Springs Thanksgiving Community Meal, 12-2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at Mark Seymour VFW Post 5699. All are welcome to come eat. Volunteers are also welcome. Reservations preferred but not required. Call 228-990-6780 for questions.
