TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) – Hillsborough deputies say they are searching for a skimming suspect who they say attached a device at a Tampa bank.

Deputies say on Aug. 13th between 6:29 p.m. and 6:33 p.m., the suspect attached a skimming device on an automated teller machine at the Regions Bank located at 6297 W. Waters Ave. using green tape and a clear glue like substance. It was left in place and found to contain electronics and a camera to record the customers' fingers as they entered their personal identification number on the keypad, deputies said.

Anyone with any information reference the suspects is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of these suspects and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call crime stoppers at  1-800-873-tips (8477), report anonymously online at www.crimestopperstb.com or  text "cstb plus your tip" to c-r-i-m-e-s (274637).



Driver: light skinned, possibly black male, with no facial hair, last seen wearing an orange ball cap, stocking mask over face, light-colored t-shirt, several beaded necklaces and light-colored latex gloves.

Passenger: unknown race, possibly a male.

Suspect Vehicle: newer model SUV, white or silver in color.
